THE SOUND
Building on our highly revered Porsche range, we have incorporated many of the same design features into our Cayman, range. 1D CLR X pipe for that incendiary howl at higher rpm, harmonically tuned silencers, and ultra-thin Inconel 625 for that “Unique to Kline” sound.
The Kline 718 Cayman Turbo system also incorporates a valvetronic design, allowing the car to be run stealthily on valve closed, while attaining an unhindered raw baritone wail, and optimum performance when the valves are opened.
THE SPECIFICS
Cross Sections
Catalyst section76mm post turbo pipe. Into twin 57mm Y pipe. Chosen to maintain exact cross sectional area, to retain optimum efficiency of gas transit.available in decat, 100 cell or 200 cell, HJS motorsport catalysts.
Silencer Section
57mm valve open transit. 45mm valve closed transit. Cross sections chosen for optimum balance of power and torque at specified RPM ranges, as well as optimal sound character, and drone free cruising.
Materials
Available in in F1 grade Inconel 625 or 304 grade stainless steel.
Decat
3.5kg Inconel 625, 7kg stainless 304
100 cell HJS
5kg Inconel 625, 8.5kg stainless steel.
Silencer section
7.6kg Inconel 625, 14kg stainless steel
PERFORMANCE
Available in Decat for optimum sound and performance, or a choice of 100 or 200 cell high flow sports cats. The catalyst section is modular, allowing the cats to be swapped with de-cat very rapidly, depending on intended use.
